Twilight Eclipse THE MOVIE..dum dum dum...

I am back! Life just sucks all the time and the Blog seems to be last on my list to keep caught up. Cuz, well, ya know...I can't put laundry off and then walk around naked. ;)
I saw ECLIPSE twice. I wanted to come right home to update my blog but I hate telling people my opinion until they see a movie. I want them to form and mold their own impression then discuss. So, if by now you haven't seen it, SHAME ON YOU!
I thought a few things, in no particular order..
1)David Slade did awesome with his firmiliar gendre. (horror, suspense)
2)The Novella of Bree Tanner ties into the movie nicely, unfortunately I wonder if it took away from some more emotional details which Eclipse is full of. I wonder if this is hard to translate into a movie.
3)The wolves were AWESOME. I really wanted to pet one and talk to them. How long has man spoken to their pets, to have them actually be able to form into a person to completely reciprocate the relationship. I mean..think of it. If your dog or cat could actually speak to you. Well, then again, I'd just have one more person telling me to clean something.
4)I do think this was Jacob's movie. Edward, Rob, seemed very cold. I know he is struggling in this book. But he is struggling by choice. I think I only see Edward smile twice in the movie.
5) I love Charlie, always have always will.
6)I will always be Team Jasper. I adore this character. He is been through so much, and still hurts and is tortured. I know, gasp... Edward Edward. Edward who is controlling, doesn't trust anything Bella does, and who can and will hide the truth to protect her. I know if my guy did that I'd be SO SO SO MAD. Edward, pfft... Jasper sparkles too. lol
I was hoping that this would be my favorite movie. I can't say it isn't, I have to see New Moon again to compare. New Moon definitely is my fav book. The tortured depressed soul is right up my alley, but I really wanted the battle scenes to be so good that it would sway me to Eclipse. Not to ramble, but I did think the battle scenes were spot on. Details from the Novella of Bree Tanner were definitely present.
What does my opinion matter? Very little. I'd love to hear yours, and if you disagree..please tell me why. Change my mind. :)

Eclipse is finally here...well, almost!

Sooooooo I purchased my advanced tickets for Eclipse. My (15 yr old) sister and I always go to the first show we can. Maybe I am getting too old, but the first showing is 1201am on June 30th. I got tickets for that night at 930. The 1201am showing doesn't appeal to me when I have to get up at 7 with a 5 and 4 year old. ...or...I'm getting old.
Anyway, I am VERY excited for Eclipse. All though my favorite book out of the Twilight saga is New Moon, I think Eclipse is going to make the best movie. More action, more to the story. I love New Moon because it's so depressing and raw...and as great as the movie was... I just wished it was darker. What's my opinion matter? ;)
It was also just confirmed that Robert Pattinson will be on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" on June 15th. YAY!

Eclipse cast on Oprah this Thursday

I have heard of all of the lucky fans that were chosen to go to the Oprah Show for the taping with the Twilight-Eclipse cast. I wrote in... but alas... no reply. Can't wait to watch the Oprah show this Thursday (May 13th). In the back corners of my brain I am telling myself constantly not to get excited for Eclipse yet. June 30th is still too far away (50 days...ugh!)

On the Oprah Topic, Will.I.Am was on the Oprah show today. I just adore him. He has such heart. Addicted to this song by Usher and Will.I.Am
